Вообще я из последних модов разве что на UvLOD засел серьезно, еще и бета-тестом 3 версии занимаюсь, все будет круто и выверено по балансу (вторая версия принесла бесконечные деньги к примеру).

CODE

Disclaimer: The mod is still under development, this is just a beta to test if it works properly.

The mod requires D2SE ModManager (stand-alone version will be added later).
Installation is pretty simple: Install D2SE, then just put TFoD folder in MODS folder (example: Diablo 2/MODS/TFoD).
Glide Wrapper is highly recommended, because in other video modes the game looks awful and items color palette will be messed up.
You need to run D2SE in compatibility mode (Win XP Service Pack 2), otherwise it won't launch in most cases.

The main concept of this mod is new UI with enhanced vanilla gameplay and other stuff, like simplified crafting etc.

This mod is based on PlugY by Yohann Nicolas and BaseMod plugin by devurandom.
Also used TalonRage's Set and UniqueItems plugins and other stuff.
Some stuff and ideas have been taken from other mods and resources.
I will add all credits later, when this mod will be officially released.

Reworked lots of interface graphics to look like Diablo 3
Stash size increased from 10x4 to 10x9
Added charm inventory zone (now charms work only on a right half of the inventory to keep it balanced)
Runes now display their rune number below the rune name
Gems now display their grade number below the gem name
Items now display their tier level right after item name
Items now display maximum number of sockets
Enhanced inventory transform color for items

- Khalim's Eye is now located in the Forgotten Temple under the Upper Kurast
- Khalim's Brain is now located in the Ruined Fane under the Kurast Causeway
Act 3:
- Ormus now gives you rare amulet instead of rare ring
Act 5:
- Qual-Kehk now gives you Unidentified Rune instead of Ral Ort Tal
Uberquest:
- Token of Absolution is now Diablo's Soulstone (sell it to let Diablo walk the Earth)

[ITEMS]
Socketed belts, boots, gloves and throwing weapons
Arrows, bolts, throwing weapons, scrolls and keys now have infinite quantity
Reduced throw damage of throwing weapons
Some properties no longer spawn on items: replenish quantity, increased stack size
Magic and rare items can be spawned with maximum number of sockets as well as the normal

Где-то я уже про такой мод слышал. А именно в лки, году эдак в 2004.

Через 4 года от первого релиза Heroes of the End mod,
модкреатор Jase обновил свое творение до версии 0.13. Автор признает,
что мод пока сыроват, кое-что надо допилить,
но то что есть, по крайней мере играбельно (от себя добавлю "с очень большой натяжкой").

2medstrax: не путай баланс и сложность. При высокой сложности любой прогресс гораздо приятнее, а не так, что ты посмотрел 100500 катсцен и вовремя поклацал кнопочкой чтобы пройти всю игру.

Меня только тем, что превращается в симулятор сборщика хлама и симулятор варки в кубе. Многие моды этим грешат, но в зиэле это очень влияет на твой прогресс, поэтому становится обязательным.
